Starasia has 10+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, which has enabled her to become adept at prioritizing tasks, maintaining organization, and optimizing workflow. Her work helps the backbone of Public Works to achieve maximum productivity. She is a highly organized individual who is skilled in time management (she prides herself on meeting deadlines consistently) and multitasking. Starasia comes to Public Works with a well-rounded history of blueprint reading, project management, engagement, communications, and clerical tasks.

  • Respite Care Worker at Hand In Hand Family Services where she instructed individuals on safety techniques, coordinated goals, and planned engaging recreational, developmental, and entertainment activities.
  • As an Office Associate at Brooklyn Heights Montessori School, she handled budgeting, the distribution of mail, routed business correspondence, payroll, and filmed the school graduation.
  • At Shame Kolainu – Hear Our Voices she was a Community Habilitation Worker who assured that individuals’ support plans are implemented into everyday personal goals.
