Marissa supports the Business Development team by providing skills in urban planning, placemaking, and urban design practices. She translates these proficiencies into creating creative and technical content to support our clients’ goals. Her previous experiences have helped her refine her approach to stakeholder engagement, manual and digital renderings, technical writing, research, and data analysis.
Experience
- Interned with the City of San Antonio Neighborhood and Housing Services Department’s Affordable Housing Unit conducting research and producing graphics for her team
- Co-editor for student publication: Place Dialogues and Social Media Chair for Association of Pratt Placemakers
- Second year graduate Urban Placemaking and Management student at Pratt Institute
- Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Texas A&M University
Outside of Public Works Partners
- Goes to her local farmers market on weekends
- Loves Nutella
- Enjoys exploring NYC
- Tests out new dessert recipes in her free time
