Noah Brook

Project Coordinator

Noah supports the development and coordination of Public Works projects through research, client outreach, and project organization.

Noah is a first-year graduate student at NYU Wagner where he is specializing in policy analysis. He previously worked as a court advocate at CASES, one of the largest providers for alternatives-to-incarceration in New York City. During his undergraduate years, Noah gained direct service experience in various sectors of the criminal legal system. Upon earning his master’s degree, Noah hopes to pursue a career at the intersection of research and advocacy to promote a compassionate criminal legal system shaped by evidence-based practices and lived experiences.
 

Experience
  • Worked with over 100 clients as they sought non-incarceratory criminal sentences
  • Conducted research on criminal legal system policies including public attorney efficacy and felony disenfranchisement
  • Supported External Strategies at the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice during implementation of the Mayor’s Action Plan for Neighborhood Safety
  • B.A. in Political Science and Social Policy & Practice from Tulane University
Outside of Public Works Partners
  • Regularly being disappointed by his beloved New York Knicks
  • Always looking for a good slice of pizza or burger
  • Loves reading science fiction, when he remembers reading is an option
