DATE: Thursday, June 4 at 10 AM EDT | Virtual Panel Discussion

The novel coronavirus has rocked the global economy, shifting the focus of businesses, government agencies, and nonprofits to navigating the pandemic’s unprecedented challenges. Small and emerging firms have had to implement creative measures to support their clients and remain viable as they weather the crisis. Nimble teams have allowed for fast-paced innovation and adaptation.

Learning from early successes will be critical as we look ahead to New York’s and our country’s recovery efforts. Public Works Partners has convened leaders of small and emerging firms to speak to these challenges. Michael Crowley of LaPlaca Cohen, Schillivia Laland of Laland Baptiste, Jeanette Nigro of Perch Advisors, and Sunil Narayan of Urbane Development will join us for a virtual panel discussion to share and examine efforts to respond to the crisis. More specifically, the panel will focus on:

  • The impact of COVID-19 on small and emerging firms, and how firms are navigating the crisis
  • Potential roles for small and emerging firms during the recovery efforts
  • Strategies for making the most of the pandemic, with regards to upholding company culture, supporting employees, and providing value to clients

The event will be moderated by Public Works Partners CEO Celeste Frye.
