Celebrating our 2019 Highlights:
Giving Back and Giving Thanks: Now that’s what a season of giving looks like! We closed out 2019 by featuring the work of our incredible clients as well as matching our staff’s donations to organizations they are passionate about. That meant doubling our staff’s impact at the Surfrider Foundation, the Movember Foundation, Do for One, Code to Inspire, Planned Parenthood, Groundswell NYC, Deeds Not Words, UNICEF USA, Jewish Welfare Board, and Earth Justice. Check out our campaign recap to learn more about these innovative organizations! Thanks to everyone who followed along on Twitter and Instagram @PublicWorksIQ.
Building an Awesome Team (Join Us!): Help us find intelligent, strategic, and mission-driven individuals to join our growing consultancy! We’re looking for creative urbanists with serious project management chops to work on some of the most exciting projects in New York City. If you or anyone you know thrives when given the space to bring a nimble, creative approach to solving the thorniest problems, loves getting messy with big and small tasks, and inevitably winds up talking about public policy at parties – reach out to us. We’d love to hear from you. Want to learn more? Visit publicworkspartners.com/careers to view and share our job openings.
And One More Thing: How did you dispose of your Christmas tree? In New Jersey, local authorities collected deteriorating Christmas trees to fortify the New Jersey Coast. This effort rejuvenates aquatic ecosystems, protects the coast from degradation, and prevents dangerous flooding during storms. Check-out “Dune, Where’s my Tree?” by Emma Watson on our blog, The Public Works IQ, to learn more.
