Election day is one week away – are you ready?
Whether you’re savvy about every candidate and ballot proposal, or feeling overwhelmed and under-informed, check out this Voter Guide, created each year by the New York City Campaign Finance Board (CFB). We recently wrapped up an engagement with their team, and are so impressed by this amazing resource, which is created by a group of just 20 people!
The nonpartisan guide provides every candidate an opportunity to list their party, top three issues, and a personal statement. (This is voluntary, so not every candidate submits one.) You can also find explanations of each ballot proposal, including statements both for and against.
And last but not least, the guide has a handy poll site locator!
Public Works is a big fan of civic engagement and especially of tools that help inform New Yorkers. Thanks to CFB for this guide – check it out, share with your networks, and go vote on November 6!
